1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "your", or "User") and Akram Qureshi Traders, a sole proprietorship registered in Pakistan ("we", "our", or "Katlog"), governing your access to and use of the Katlog website (katlog.app) and the Katlog WhatsApp broadcasting platform (the "Service").
By creating an account, signing up for the waitlist, or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies referenced in these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Katlog is a software platform that enables businesses registered in Pakistan to send bulk WhatsApp messages — including product images, prices, and custom text — to their own customers individually through the official WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Service includes a dashboard for contact list management, broadcast composition, delivery tracking, and wallet billing.
Katlog is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or WhatsApp LLC, but it operates as a client of the official WhatsApp Business API and is bound by Meta's platform policies.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information, including a valid business phone number and a legitimate Pakistani business or trade identity. You agree to keep your account information up to date.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Pakistani law. You must be registering on behalf of a legitimate business or sole proprietorship. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at info@katlog.app if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Katlog only for lawful business communications with people who have consented, directly or indirectly, to receive messages from your business. You will not, and will not permit any third party to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, phishing attempts, or messages to people who have not agreed to receive communications from you.
- Send messages that are illegal, fraudulent, misleading, defamatory, hateful, harassing, obscene, or that infringe the rights of any third party.
- Promote or sell goods or services that are prohibited under Pakistani law or under the WhatsApp Business Platform Commerce Policy (including but not limited to illegal drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, and adult content).
- Upload customer contact lists that you do not have the legal right to use, or that were obtained in violation of applicable data protection or anti-spam laws.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise compromise the integrity of the Service.
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the WhatsApp Business Platform, the Katlog platform, or any other user's experience.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any user who, in our sole discretion, violates this section, including suspending or terminating accounts and reporting violations to Meta or the relevant authorities.
5. WhatsApp Business Platform Compliance
The Service operates as a client of the official WhatsApp Business Platform. By using Katlog, you agree to comply with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, the Meta Commerce Policy, and any other applicable Meta policies in force at the time of use.
You understand that Meta may, in its sole discretion, restrict, suspend, or terminate messaging access for your business number if you violate these policies, and that Katlog is obligated to cooperate with Meta's enforcement actions. You are solely responsible for the content of the messages you send and for obtaining valid consent from recipients in accordance with applicable law.
6. Fees and Payments
Katlog operates on a pre-paid wallet model. You top up your wallet balance in advance and messages are deducted from that balance as they are successfully delivered. The current price is PKR 15 per successfully delivered message. There are no monthly subscription fees and no setup fees.
The minimum wallet top-up is PKR 10,000. Top-ups can be made via JazzCash, Easypaisa, or direct bank transfer to an account in the name of Akram Qureshi Traders. Funds added to your wallet are for messaging usage only and are not refundable as cash, except where required by Pakistani law.
You are only charged for messages that are successfully delivered through the WhatsApp Business API. Messages that fail to deliver for reasons outside your control (invalid number, recipient opted out, delivery timeout) are automatically refunded to your wallet balance and may be resent.
We may change our pricing at any time by providing at least 30 days' notice via email or through the dashboard. Price changes will not affect wallet balances you have already purchased — those balances remain valid at the per-message rate in effect at the time of top-up.
7. Intellectual Property
Katlog, the Katlog name, logo, website, dashboard, code, designs, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Akram Qureshi Traders and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Pakistan and applicable international treaties. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely for your internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our software, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
8. User Content
You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create through Katlog, including customer contact lists, product images, message templates, and message text ("User Content"). We do not claim any ownership over your User Content.
You grant Katlog a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service — for example, to deliver the broadcasts you compose to the recipients you specify, and to display your uploaded data back to you in the dashboard. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where retention is required by law.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, consents, and permissions necessary to upload and use User Content through Katlog, and that doing so does not violate the rights of any third party or any applicable law, including data protection and privacy laws.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us at info@katlog.app. Remaining wallet balances will be handled in accordance with Section 6.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, the WhatsApp Business Platform policies, or applicable law; if continued provision of the Service to you would expose Katlog to legal or regulatory risk; or if we are directed to do so by Meta or a lawful authority. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, but Sections 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11 of these Terms survive.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or free of errors, nor do we guarantee any specific delivery rate, response rate, or business outcome from using Katlog.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Akram Qureshi Traders, its owners, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the Service in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to Katlog in that twelve-month period, or (b) PKR 10,000.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.
Before initiating any formal legal action, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith through direct discussion, with the initiating party writing to info@katlog.app and providing a reasonable opportunity for resolution.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, the law, or our business practices. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page, update the "Last updated" date, and — where the change is significant — notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and close your account before the effective date.
